About

Transforming postnatal care

So often mums feel forgotten once their baby arrives. People visit to meet the baby, everyone asks how the baby is, you attend multiple appointments for the baby’s well-being. Grow Pilates is changing this.

Our program is designed just for mothers. We deliver safe and effective exercises tailored to your postpartum and motherhood needs.

A modern approach

We know how hard it is for mums to get out of the house, find the time for exercise and know what the right exercises are in the postpartum period.

With the convenience of online classes, you can participate from the comfort of your own home, saving you precious time that can be spent bonding with your baby.

    • Have the flexibility to fit exercise in around your baby.

    • You can pause the class if needed.

    • Designed to heal any diastasis recti separation, pelvic floor weakness, and/or weak core muscles which can give back pain

  • Safe for prolapse

    • All of our classes are prolapse safe.

    • There is a large focus on pelvic floor engagement and exercises.

    • Specific Return to Sport/Running preparation classes begin in Levels 2 and 3.

    • Prepare your body’s fitness and strength in preparation for return to high-intensity sports such as running, F45/BFT, netball, tennis etc.

Hayley Runting

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist,
Pilates Instructor + Founder

B. Physio (Hon.), PG Cert (Pelvic Floor Physio)

My mission is to deliver high-quality postnatal classes and educational resources to all mothers, all around Australia. I hope to empower women with knowledge, strength and confidence, helping them to grow as mothers, and within themselves.

From working with hundreds of postnatal women over the 10+ years of my career, I have seen how hard it is for many mums to return to regular in-person classes, despite their best intentions. Being able to access quality pilates sessions which have a variety of length, style, equipment, and are able to be done with kids asleep or awake are key criteria as I continue to build Grow Pilates.

As a firm believer in ‘prevention is better than cure’, I hope Grow Pilates is able to help many women avoid incontinence, prolapse or pain issues which are, unfortunately, too common in the postnatal population.

I hope you enjoy the program as much as I do!

Bella Baby

Assistant

Bella joined the Grow Pilates family in 2020. Her role is to assist with filming and help mammas learn how to incorporate their little ones into the exercise routine.

Bella’s favourite activities are napping, napping, and more napping. She is handmade, and is the approximately size of an average swaddled 3 month old.

“I love the 15 minute classes, as well as the 30 minute classes. In between baby stuff I feel I can juggle a 15 or 30 min class so love choosing between those two options (I have 2 bubs under 2)”
